FACEBOOK LIVE

SUNDAY AND DAILY MASS

Beginning Saturday, June 6, 2020, St. Elizabeth's will resume it's normal Sunday Mass schedule in the Main Church. We are already having Daily Mass Monday through Friday in the Main Church. This requires us to put in place several requirements for those who choose to attend mass.

  • You are welcome to attend any Mass. However, the Saturday, 5 PM Vigil Mass is reserved only for people over 60 years old or those with medical conditions. No exceptions will be allowed.
  • Please wear a mask when attending Mass.
  • Please maintain 6-foot social distance from the next family seated in your pew.
  • Communion will be distributed after the Final Blessing of the Mass.
  • As of right now, we will not have a choir, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Lectors or Altar Servers.

If you are able to help santize the Church (the pews and the restrooms) following Mass, please e-mail the Parish office at stelubbock@gmail.com or call 806-762-5225, ext. 1.

Please fill out our Mass Survey about the Mass time you would like to attend in order to help us plan accordingly.

Our obligation to attend Sunday continues to be dispensed by Bishop Coerver. You are not required to attend Mass at this time if you feel it is not prudent for you or your family.

SUNDAY MASS LIVE STREAM

We will continue to have Mass on Sunday live-streamed without a congregation at 10 AM on the Raider Catholic Facebook page. Distribution of Communion will follow the 10 AM Mass in the St. Elizabeth's North parking lot. Please read the instructions here. Please read both the Letter from our Pastor and the Letter from our Bishop below.

DRIVE-UP COMMUNION

Starting on Sunday, April 26, 2020, St. Elizabeth's will distribute Holy Communion after our 10 AM Live-Streamed Mass. Below are instructions on how to come to St. Elizabeth's and receive Communion.

Bishop Coerver has given instructions for Drive-Up Communion beginning Sunday, April 26, 2020 for the Diocese of Lubbock, which can be viewed in the video below, as follows:

People over 60 years of age or people with pre-existing conditions which make them more vulnerable to the effects of the virus should not attend church services at this time.

  • All people attending the service are to stay in their cars and must be wearing a mask.
  • Communion distribution will begin Sunday, April 26 at 10:45 a.m.  Enter the North parking lot from the west end (Avenue X) and follow the directions provided by the Knights of Columbus.
  • You will need to let the Communion Minister how many people will need communion in your car, and if you are taking Communion to anyone not able to attend.  You will receive a paper cup with the Communion for those in your car.
  •  If you are not taking Communion to someone, you can return the paper cup to the Minister for proper disposal.
  • If you are taking Communion to someone not in your car, you can bring the cup back next weekend or you can burn it at home.
  • As you exit the parking lot you will have an opportunity to leave your weekly donation.
